Artist Bio

Richa Sharma is a professional artist who was born in India and moved to USA after her master’s degree in computer science. She was always passionate about art, so she continued her studies and graduated from Milan Art Institute to hone her skills and properly enter the art world.

Richa was always a learner and tried a lot of things in pursuit of her passion. Only thing that stuck in the end was making art as she never got bored of it. Initially, she only wanted to paint portrait as every face fascinated her, but after graduating from art school, she found that she loved painting abstract realism. The amalgam of reality and abstract and various interpretation people draw from her painting is her ultimate motivation.

Richa is a spiritual person and draws inspiration from nature, feelings, poem, stories, dreams amongst other things. She loves animal and a proud mommy of a pup named Eevie. Her love for animals is apparent in her paintings as she constantly introduces them in a new light through her art. She loves to work in series and started her artist career with ‘Running with wolves’ series.

When she is not painting, she is either reading, travelling or watching movies. She believes every moment can be an inspiration if only you look for it. Her future involve painting murals as she loves the grandiosity of murals and perpetually amazed at sheer work that goes into it.
